Week 20 from Lex's View

Hello Friends!
What a super fun week I've had. I started out by the best Saturday ever. I had a wonderful reunion with my sister, Luna, and my brother, Lucky. We had the best time together. Read all about it in the 20th Edition of Lex's View!

Last Saturday, mom, my aunt, and I went on a car ride to meet up with Luna and Lucky. When we finally there, we were in this cool town. There was lots of see and do.

There was this river. I've never seen a river like this before.

And, people were practicing their rowing skills. One of the people would shout out the commands to the others. It was loud, and they were fast moving. Lots of watch!

I had to check with my GPS, uh compass, to make sure that we were headed in the right direction.

 These were super cool stairs!

The stairs led up to this bridge. It felt weird on my paws, but I didn't care. Plus, cars were going over the bridge, and it vibrated.

This is Sal, the horse....super quite horse...didn't say a neigh. Hmm.

My sister Luna and I were waiting to cross the intersection safely.

I practiced my walking nicely skills and did a great job!

We went to a farmer's market. There were tons of veggies, flowers, and other cool things to buy. Plus, there were quite a few people. I did great with passing by the people. You know me...I love people and ignoring them is hard work. But I did a great job!

This was a neat footing!

My siblings and I settled nicely while this lady talked to us…she knew our daddy, Maestro, when he was our age. I thought it was super cool! She said that she couldn’t believe she was meeting Maestro’s puppies!!!

We three walked very nicely together.

Our moms wanted to take pictures of us. Look how much taller I am than Luna. I'll always look out for my "little sister!" Speaking of size--I'm now 60.5 pounds!

Me, Luna, and Lucky
Lucky and me. Mom says we're both super handsome. I'll accept that compliment!

We walked down these stairs and went underneath an underpass.

This is Saffron. She is super cute!

Saying hi to her!

Then, we went back to Lucky's house for a playdate. I had a great time!

 I even found a pool!

This was a fun slide!

Getting a drink with my brother!

 Play is hard work!

All of our humans went inside to make fleece tug toys for the GEB's Canine Development Center in Patterson, NY. I helped puppy-sit Saffron. she was super cute and little...but....

...boy was it tiring. I had to crash for a nap after all that work.

Our Official 6 month birthday picture!

We are such good friends!

Lucky gave me 6 month birthday gifts. I love my bandanas (a Bills one, a candy corn one, and a thanksgiving one!). I've been enjoying the bone, as well. It's always fun to have a brand new toy to chew. Plus, I got a new fleece blanket. With these cooler days, I've been snuggling up with it. Thanks, Lucky!

I went to Aldi to get some groceries.

Sunday Best!

Here I am, pretending to lead the charge to a Bills victory!

Sweet Sleep!

Wal-Mart: Mouthwash is a great help for keeping teeth white and clean!

I settled very well while mom checked out.

Library

Practicing the steps outside

Walking in to School!

I was a very good "post" for the figure 8's at class.

Settling

For part of the class, my handler was a new person who is learning about GEB. She didn't know if she would do a good job with me. Don't worry--I was telling her exactly how things work...Rule #1 Be generous with rewards. Rule #2 Be extra generous with rewards. Rule #3 Be super duper generous with rewards. Yep...I got her all trained. Just then, mom gave her some treats for me, but also told the girl that I really don't need many rewards. My entire plan was spoiled. Oh well, I tried!

Ear handling and cleaning.

At cool down time of class....when all the humans talk!

Playing dress-up, boy style!

Going for a walk...don't my legs look long.
Eyes open....

....eyes closed.

I went to the library while mom was on her laptop. I settled very nicely, even though there were lots of people (including kids) coming and going.

These mums make for a pretty background.

I was going to buy mom some flowers....I tried to sniff out the best ones.

Then, I checked in with mom!

Bananas! Have you ever seen so many in one place?!

There was a whole row of meat! I was such a good boy and did even sniff it.

This is a cool pumpkin!

On a hike!

"I wanna hold your hand!"

I went to the library again. I didn't practice settling this time. I practiced my stairwork.

I also went on an elevator ride!
All ready for the Friday night football game!

This metal bleacher ramp was cool!

Settling at the game. Mom brought me a blanket to sleep on...good thing! It was rather chilly!

Laying my head on mom's lap was comfy!

My ears were cold...thankfully, mom shared some of the blanket with me!

Yay for football!
                                                                   Until Next Week,
