Week 34 from Lex's View

Hello to my readers!

Remember last week when mom told me there was something extremely special about this week? Well, let me tell you now. This was the most exciting week ever!!! The special day was called "Christmas!" Read all about it....

 

Mom loves this picture of me. She took it awhile back, but had forgotten about it. Don't you think my fur looks beautiful against the white snow?

 

I'm very good at paying attention.

Harlow and I went on a hike.

 

I had a blast playing! I was trying my German Shepherd look. What do you think?

Okay...this is a HIGHLY embarrassing picture!!!! Do you see what I see?? These are purple panties! Mom says that if I were a girl, I'd be wearing these panties some of the time. Thankfully, I don't have to, but can you believe mom made me try these on?!! I figured if I was really good mom would take them off before long--it actually worked!!

I think I need a larger size please...

 

I was in the church performance as a sheep....I don't think I look like a sheep, but I think it was the idea of it. I was a VERY good boy as I handled by the "shepherd" and was very patient.  

 

I went to a Christmas potluck dinner. I was super good during the meal.

 

I helped mom make a return at Wal-Mart. I sat like this and watched the employee the entire time. I wanted to be sure that the transaction was successful!

 

Then, mom and I went to the fabric department.

 

 

While mom was having the fleece cut, I had to wait. And wait. Did I say I have to wait? I guess you could say that I'm a very good conversation starter and the employee and mom started talking. I settled very nicely and was patient.

I practiced my loose leash walking.

I went to the Post Office to mail letters.

The forest is spreading to the Post Office, too. I just can't believe my eyes.

I went with mom to Wegman's for her to use the WiFi.

I slept for a VERY long time.

When I got a little bored, I started taking selfies!

Afterwards, we had to go buy a few things.

I went to Pebbles for a quick stop.

I helped mom get the mail and guess what? I got a package in the mail. It was for ME! It was from my sister, Luna! I was SOO excited!



Am I getting wrinkles from sleeping so much?!

Christmas is Harlow's favorite holiday of all. She knows all about it and told me just how everything works!



Harlow says that mom takes lots of pictures at Christmas. Yep sure enough mom was posing me with my antler rack!

This cookie says my name! My aunt made it just for me! It was a human cookie, so I couldn't eat it. But, it was really cool to have a cookie named after ME!

My cousin Ella Mae came for a few days. She doesn't like to admit it, but she likes me! And, she's not too bad either. Actually, it's kinda fun having her around.


Christmas has to be the most exciting day ever....family and friends give each other gifts! I'm very blessed to have wonderful families (dog and humans) and wonderful friends.

This stocking is from my brother, Lucky! I think the stocking is super cute!

This is a really cute toy! It's a reindeer duck. I guess it's like me being a reindeer dog!

These are all my gifts from Lucky. I love the mini Milk Bones (they're super yummy!!), the really fun toy, and the doggie Christmas cookie! Thank you Lucky!

This is my box from my sister, Luna! My first package I've ever received in the mail!

Inside, there was this cool bag.

I couldn't help myself..I just had to look inside the bag!!

 

I got a cool tug toy with 2 tennis balls, a super fun blue ball, and a snowflake cookie for me. Plus, Luna gave my human got some human treats, too.

 

This was my Christmas card from Luna. Aren't we cute together?! Thank you, sister Luna!

Harlow and I got a beautiful wrapped package from our very good friend.

It was a beautiful frame. Harlow and I are going to put our picture in here!

 

I got these amazing treats from one of my aunties!!! I can't wait to try them!

I got a bag of Blue treats and a Nylabone from a friend. This bone is chicken flavor, and I love chewing it!

 

Harlow and I got a stocking and bag from another good friend of ours.

There were lots of treats and toys!

I love this new toy!

Sammy got a new cat bed! It doesn't look like he'll be sharing any time soon!

I finally pulled out my gifts from my gift basket. I'm super excited to try these new treats!

I'm a very grateful boy. I'm very blessed to have such wonderful family and friends.



Chicken, toad, and I all took a nap.

Christmas sure is tiring!!!



I went for a walk in town and practiced my loose leash walking. I also got to walk up some stairs, up a ramp, and mailed a letter in the post office box.

It's been a very special and wonderful week. I'm a very blessed boy. It's a wonderful life!
