Week 29 from Lex's View

Hello All,

This week's thankfulness points are....
1. I'm grateful that I get to go to doggie school where I can learn and practice my skills, as well as see all my classmates.
2. I'm grateful for playdates with my doggie friends. It's nice to "talk dog" with my friends!
3. I'm grateful that I'm a future guide dog puppy, and that I can go EVERYWHERE with mom. It's so much fun to be able to go and do so many really cool things. Plus, I learn so many things while I'm out and about!

This week, I brought out my Thanksgiving bandana. Thanks to my brother Lucky and his mom!

I started out the weekend by doing therapy visits at a nursing home. I brought smiles to many, many people.

While mom and the resident visits, I settle, usually at the person's feet. I do that all on my own without mom telling me!

I'm a wonderful conversationalist!

This is my best smile!

Being social is hard work!

The next day, I went to the nursing home again when mom played the music.

Harlow and me used it as nap time!

Aren't I patient?!

I attended a Harvest Dinner pot luck dinner. As you can see, I worked terribly hard preparing the meal and was ready for a nap!! (almost!!)

Harlow + me = Best Friends Forever

Harlow is the best big sister ever!

When I went for a couple of walks at the park, I found this on the pavement. I thought it was very true for me!

The river near the park was being used by the seagulls. Apparently, they were slightly disorientated because I'm afraid we don't have a sea near us!

Observing life from my view....

I practiced wearing my doggie backpack.

I went to Wal-Mart. Our first stop was boring!! Mom had to go to the photo center, and it took forever with her pictures!

Do you see what I see???!!!! Tuffy Dog Toys!!! This are a great toy and are on my list for "approved toys" (because they're really tough for strong chewers like me!)
Hey mom, do you see them??!

Weird person in Wal-Mart!

I got a new collar!!! Mom has been looking for the perfect collar for me, since I outgrew my pretty green bow tie collar. This is the perfect collar!

Look at all the choices!

Walking nicely is very important.

Got Milk?

I went to school this week. Listening intently is very important in class.

Practicing loose leash walking, despite distractions

Don't I look very regal in this picture?

I spy something little.
I spy something moving.
I spy something black.
I spy a puppy!!!!!

Introducing....Iron! This little guy is my newest classmate. I must admit he is rather cute, even if he got most of the attention by all the humans. I figure I'll be his mentor.

Iron really likes me!

"Hey buddy!!"

The humans were blindfolded for part of class (to pretend they were blind). I thought I'd practice, too!

Okay...actually, I think my eyes were closing because I was sooo sleepy!

Okay, remember how I said that Lowe's was turning into a forest....well, I think it's widespread! The forest is at Wal-Mart, too!

Should I invest in a pair of boots for this winter?

Who wants boots when one could buy a pair of Frozen's Olaf slippers??!!

Settling...

And more settling!

I went to Tractor Supply.
I don't have a picture, but there was a German Shephard in the store! He was really big and handsome. I did quite well with him in the store, too.

There were some really nice Carharts, but they look like my coat already...just think of the money I saved because of my natural coloring!

 Until Next Week,
Lex
