Week 31 from Lex's View

Hi Friends,
I'm a bit late in posting this week. It's been crazy week, and mom hasn't let me have much computer time. Something about now that I'm getting grown up, I'll need to take on some more grown up responsibilities. Uhh...I don't think I signed up for this! Can I be little again???!!


I kicked off the week by helping my family pick out a Christmas tree.

I was the master of ceremonies for the lighting of the Christmas tree.

Christmas is officially kicked off!

When I went on a walk, I found this McDonalds burger wrapper. Let me tell you...it smelled delicious! But, leave it to mom...she thought it'd be a good idea to practice walking around it and doing obedience while ignoring it. Honestly??!


I obliged and did a good job ignoring it. I just had to make a face to the camera.

I did something new--I walked thru a car wash. It was empty, and there was no water to play in. It was a cool place!

Mom and I hung out and watched traffic.

 
I went to the tennis court. Look at what I had to walk over to get into the tennis court? A chair! It was good practice for me to walk over it. ..not that I cared!


I had a grand time on the tennis court!

 

I got it!! Walk over the grate and wink at the camera!

I went to the Dollar Store.

Mom....you are going to decide on a card, right??!!

Mom...when will we go home??!

Yep, we left Dollar Tree, but apparently, none of the cards suited mom. So we went to Walmart.

I'm a really good boy as mom checked out at Walmart. I always am sure to be polite to the cashier and look up. When the person sees my pretty eyes, she or he is sure to greet me. Weird thing, though...giving cashiers my "pretty eye look" only pays off at Tractor Supply where I always get a bone. Hmmmm.....

Hello, is there anything I may help you with today at Shoe Department? May I direct your attention to the sale on women's dress shoes?

I went to Maurice's...quite a boring store! 

I went to Wegman's, the grocery store. I was a very good boy.

Hmm...what should I grab for dinner?

Any suggestions, mom?

Hmm...my nose is turning pink!!! I knew it! Ever since mom put those antler ears on me, my nose started changing colors...something about Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer!

I went to the reading program at the library. I was a very good boy. One little girl really liked petting me.

Mom has been going thru pictures of Angelica. I was trying to help her until I fell asleep on the job!
Harlow and I are best friends. She's so good to let me snuggle with her.

"I wanna hold your hand..."

This week, I attended my Christmas party at my school. Before the party, I settled for about an hour while Mom taught a pre-placement class. I was a great boy during that. Then, Mom was rather busy getting things set up for the party, I hung out a this table.

Then, for class, I got to work with a different handler. I was a perfect gentleman!


"Over"


For the relay race, the handler was suppose to wear the antler ears. Well, as you can see, I was persuaded to wear the ears....I'm happy to report that I completed the relay race perfectly with the ears on my head!

I was tired by the end!

I had a birthday this week. I'm 9 months old.




I decided to change my wardrobe now that I'm 9 months old! How do I look in this tie?!

My sister Luna's mom took this picture for me. If you look carefully, this wall has "Lex" written on it. I think it means that I must go and visit there!!!


Here's a picture that was taken last month when I was at college on my home switch. Mom just got this picture. The person who I was staying with had a birthday, and her friends made her this birthday cape...You know what she did? Yep....she put it on me!
