Week 6 from Lex's View

Hello, Friends! It's me again. Another week has passed. I'm another week older (14 weeks), another week bigger (30 pounds), and another week wiser (the more I see, the more I learn!).

This week was my last week with my sister, Angelica, before she goes to college. Mom said that it was Angelica's week to do all of her favorite things.

Angelica took me "climbing." She's always loved to climb on footings, logs, and such.

Angelica loves taking walks.

Angelica loves to swim, so we went swimming a couple of times. I even did some actual swimming this week. I didn't go very far, but all four paws were off ground and I was paddling!

Angelica says to make your sister your best friend...Harlow is the best friend a pup can ever have.

Hey mom...not a good shot of my face.

3 Musketeers playing tug.

Look at me! I got the toy. Anyone want to play?

Angelica  & me

Angelica loves the baby pool and the hose. I played in the baby pool. Sometimes, I like to sit pool side and work on my tan.

Angelica says that stairs are a great lower body workout, and it's best to keep in shape for a future career as a guide dog. So, I try to do them every day.

Angelica says it's vital to make friends along the way....especially felines. "It's better to have felines for you than against you."

Angelica says it's important to pose for pictures for mom, and it pays realllly well (in the form of treats and play) to stay nicely.

Angelica says it's important to have fun, so I made a face for the camera.

Angelica says it's important to notice the little details... after all, as guide dogs, we have to notice things to keep our people safe. Notice the dragonfly above my head.

Did I mention that I love to roll on my back? Angelica says this is NOT on her list of fun activities.

Angelica loves to go to baseball games. There was a "Kids Day" theme, and there were a ton of kiddos everywhere. I sat for awhile and took it all it. I didn't know there were others who made as much noise as my L siblings and I did. Wow...I think we have some competition.

Nothing like snuggling with my sisters....better than any dog bed.

Angelica says it's important to make lots of friends and tell them that I'm a special puppy in training. I think I have this one down!

Angelica and me.

Angelica says it's vital to get beauty sleep, so I slept thru another baseball game.

Angelica loves to walk on the rocks. I love to follow Angelica wherever she goes.

Angelica loves music, so we went to an outdoor concert. My mom was playing in it, but my aunt took my sisters and me.

Not to make mom feel bad, but we slept thru the entire concert. I don't know why she woke us up for this picture.

Angelica says it's important to take time to watch the happenings around us. I got to observe some kids playing soccer.

Angelica says that exploring is the best fun ever. I went to the outdoor garden center at Walmart. There were lots of things to explore.

Angelica says never forget to play. She took me to the tennis court again.

Look how tall I've gotten!

Angelica's favorite activity is a walk in nature. We went on a sunset walk on Angelica's last night with us.

We conspired against mom in this pic. Angelica, you look that way, and I'll look this way!

Final photoshoot with all 3 of us. I'm going to miss my sister, Angelica. She was the best tugger, best player, best teacher, and best friend I could have dreamed of having. I love you!

Until Next Week,
Lex
