Week 6 with Lucky

June 6th Lucky got to hang out with GEB Retired Brood Nugget. :) He loved having her visit. :)

June 7th Lucky got to have some early morning play time in the Lower 40.

June 8th after work Lucky and I went to visit GEB Stud Cosmo! They had a great time together!

Oh! And we pulled out the kiddie pool for the dogs too on Sunday!

Which resulted in very tired puppies :)

June 10th Lucky came with me to PetsMart! He did very well!

June 11th Lucky came along for a car ride to JFK Airport. I had to drive a friend there and so he was  my co-pilot on the way home. He did very well! And after the car ride we headed straight to his 2nd puppy class in the Dutchess Region!

At class we started out walking from chair to chair. Then we did that again, but stopped half way to do a 5 second sit and 5 second down. Then again to do a 5 second sit and 5 second stand. Then we did a close at one of the chairs. Finally we moved to another chair again and this time we walked 3 steps and asked for a sit, walked 3 steps and sit again, then walk 3 steps and sit one last time. After that we practiced come with the pups. Then we worked on ignoring dropped treats. Then we did some more work on stay and adding distance. And finally we did some body handling. Lucky did really well. He was a little excited, but he had just been in the car from 1:40 until 5:20 so what could I expect from him? :) He was awesome though!! And I also happened to weigh him today because he feels so huge and he is! He is 28 pounds already!! Wow!!
