Week 10 from Lex's View

Hello friends! It's me again...wow-each week seems to fly by faster than the last week.



Chillaxing in the pool.



I love doughnuts...even if I can't eat them!

Mom made me sit in it! Although, I curled up in the hole and tried to nap all on my own...comfy!

 

I went to a bon fire. The smoke smelled rather weird, and the fire was hot. But, I decided it was okay and took a nap.

I'm giving mom the "You're kidding? Another picture" look.



On Sunday, I turned the big 4 months! I think that means I'm grown up.

                                   

                                     

I went to Wal-mart.

I went into the garden center inside Wal-Mart, too. It was pretty neat in there.  

This was a fun display....blue play sand. Maybe mom could buy me some and I could make a sand castle!



Where did all the flowers go?? (no, I didn't eat them!!)

  

I wish I had one of these carts for my very own.

Running is good for one's heart!

                                   


I'm starting to take more and more naps near my big sister. She makes a fantastic pillow.



Car rides are cool. When I was little, I didn't know how to get into a car, but now, I love to "load up" (that's the command). I know I'm going somewhere fun!

Inside Lowe's...this was super fun!

Mom and I practiced my "close" command, which I'm getting the hang of doing!

Flags...hmmm...where's the one with the yellow lab?

This footing looked really fun to me, so mom let me explore it.

Then....I decided to take a nap on it. It was nice and cool.

Out for an evening walk with my sister. On this walk, I saw my very first deer. I didn't get a very good look, but I think they look something like me...only bigger.

This round thing is called a "hay bale." It feels prickly, but smells yummy.



 

I went to Subway. It was my first time there, and I had fun. I think restaurants are rather rude places to take dogs. All we have to do is watch the humans ohhh and ahhh over their meal....all the while we have to sit and not get a bite. If become president, I'm going to change this rule!




Although, restaurants are good places to practice settling and a great place to people watch....people get pretty excited over their "kibble"!

 

We took a car ride and went to a baseball All Star game. 

Mom brought me a bone to chew and that was fun. But,  I ended up doing what I normally do during baseball games...SLEEP!



And, he's off!

He misses it.



But, he's determined to get the toy!



He goes for it!

And....He gets it!! Game over, he wins!!!!

I'll close by introducing my very good friend. This is Toady...when I go out to get busy before going to bed for the night, Toady is often outside the door to wish me sweet dreams. But, the other day, he found my blanket that was outside and decided to "go place" on it. (at least that's what it looked like he was doing to me!). The funny thing was that Toady had a piece of my fur on his face in the picture. I think he wants to be a guide toad. Whatcha think? I could be his toad raiser!!!!!!!
