Week 12 from Lex's View

Hello Friends!

I started out the week by going to a chicken BBQ. I was very good and settled while mom ate. Unfortunately, she was so busy eating that she forgot to take a picture of me...unbelievable!!

 

After the chicken BBQ, I went to a baseball game. This picture tells you what I did for most of the game. 

 

Harlow and I love to snuggle during the games.

The glow of the sunset is most attractive to my complexion!



Nothing like a summer sunset at a baseball game.



I went to Wal-Mart!

I even helped mom buy some milk. I did a stay while she opened the fridge and got out the milk. I was a very good helper.  




I went to the pond again and had a great time. There's always a need to shake off all the excess water!

 

I always remember to shake out each ear.

I'm trying out a new ear style. What do you think?

I'm pouting....it's not meal time. Maybe if I give these eyes, I'll at least get a treat!

I went to a birthday playdate! It was a blast. First of all, I went on a short walk with Delphi in a park. Then, it was time for the fun to start!

This is my half sister, Delphi...we have the same dad, Maestro!

I might be young, but I can keep up with these old gals!

If I had wings, I'd fly!!!

I like my sis Delphi...she's a great gal and we think a lot alike...for instance....mud and water is for rolling in!

Pretty soon I'm going to be taller than my sister.

Okay, mom...not the best angle of me.

It was a great party! I LOVED wearing the birthday hat and didn't even attempt to get it off my head. I could have worn it all day...if mom hadn't taken it off me. I think when it's my birthday party, I will wear a hat all day long.



I went on a hike in the woods, which was lots of fun!



I'm trying to blend in with this wheat. Can you spot me?

I went to Wal-Mart again.

Mom didn't let me buy anything this time, but sometimes, it's good to just browse.

I went on a walk in a different part of town. It was fun to see and smell a new place.

While on my walk, we found these huge basketball hoops. They will be used for a basketball tournament called "Gus Macker."

I went with mom to get her eye glasses. She had already gotten her eye exam, but she needed to get the glasses. I was excited when she said that I could go with her! I love helping mom. I settled very well when mom talked to the lady and settled under the chair when the glasses were being adjusted.



This is my new "Lexus Series." My nickname is "Lexus." I think when I grow up that's the kind of car I'll drive. So, I thought I'd get a head start and pose with Lexus cars I see when I'm out and about....to see which one I look the best with. When I get my Lexus, it's going to have a personalized license plate that reads, "GEB Lex."

Yes, mom I'm still breathing.

I went on a picnic in the woods! It was great fun. I was very polite and didn't try to bother mom while she was eating...even if she was sitting on the ground as she ate (that's a new one!)

I went to the last regular season baseball game, but the good news is since everyone loves me so much, they decided to play more games (something called the playoffs)...that way they can see me some more!
