Week 35 from Lex's View!

Hello Readers,
This is a very special post! This is the only FIRST post of 2015!!! I think it's going to be a very good year. I don't know what I'll be doing in another year, but ya know what...I think I'll be having fun. Who knows...I might be on a beach somewhere with a pair of shades and my paws kicked up on a beach chair, sipping on a bacon smoothie!! Who knows! The sky is the limit!

 

I walked outside of this plaza. There were several shoppers who I was able to observe. Oh, yeah, and there were birds, too!

I had a great morning playing at this park.

This blue thing is called a swing. Did you know that it swings?! Mom showed me how it worked, and it is pretty cool! At first, I wanted to chase after mom and the swing. So, instead of me chasing it, I did a down/stay while mom went swinging. I did a great job!

I made a trip into the Post Office. There are always people behind the wall talking. It bugs me why I can't see them, but hear them.

 



I went for a walk. There were several dogs in the neighborhood barking at me. I think they were all jealous of me! Anyhow, it was good practice for me to be around these other dogs. At first, I wanted to go play with them, but mom reminded me that I have a job to do. After I remembered, I did a nice job!

Hi Mom! I love to talk with mom when we go on walks!!!

Mom and I practiced my "close" command on a wooden bench. I did a great job!

Does anyone need a 2015 calendar? I recommend the one with the puppies!

I went to Lowe's on a special outing....

....my outing was with my friend, Iron. He's almost 4 months old. I think he wants to be my little brother! I don't mind at all!

I have a new favorite ball! It's a squeaker ball. My grandpa got it for me, and I love it! It's so much fun!

Look here! I can retrieve a ball, carry it with half my teeth, put my ear back, and wink all at once.

 

Happy 2015!!

Can you believe we're entering a new year already! I wonder what this year will hold for me.

 

Harlow and I both kicked off the year in style and rang in the year at midnight!

 

Look at my new pal (okay, it's actually my mom's!)! You'll never believe what his name is? LEX!!!!!

Mom went a little crazy! She thinks I'm a Christmas package!

I helped mom take down this Christmas tree. I was trying to help, but I fell asleep! Oooopps!

 

I also saw this baby doll laying all by himself....so I decided I would get a job in the year 2015--babysitting!!!!

 

 

On Friday, I went on a home-switch. Guess what I found? A BONE! I really like it, too.

 

Yep, it's officially my bone now! I'm doing a really good job settling in at this new place.

 

I'm also getting along with the family dog nicely. I've never met a dog like him before! He's a blue border collie.  He's pretending he doesn't like me, but the truth is he's starting to like me. By the time I leave, we'll be BFF's (that's short for Best Friends Forever!!)!
