Week 38 from Lex's View

Hello Readers!
Another week, another dollar! Well, I know it's been another week, but where's the dollar?! I still haven't found it yet. It's been a good week--another week of learning more skills and having good experiences to prepare me for being a future guide dog! Read all about it!

I started out the week by going to church. I'm always such a great boy to settle and not make a sound!!

I went to a pot luck dinner. Obviously, you can tell what I did while the humans were stuffing their faces! Yep--it was nap time!
Mom dressed me up in a scarf and this snowman hat. Honestly??!
We start out our trip to Wal-Mart by getting a cart.

I'm super good at walking nicely while mom is pushing a cart.

Hi Mom!
I checked out the pet aisles. I'm doing great at ignoring all the amazing dog food, treats, and toys in the store. I've been practicing with mom, and she says it's paying off!

Look! This bear was so tired that he had to take a nap! It was weird, though, because he had a "I Love You" sign. He and I  have never met before, so that was confusing! Mom told me that it's something to do with Valentine's Day coming up next month--whatever that means!

Patiently waiting for mom! I didn't realize there were so many tea choices!

I explored the bikes. Maybe some day, I'll ride a bike. I had better practice my coordination skills first!
I think I need a bigger bike, though!

Duck Tape, anyone?!
Patiently waiting is a part of my training!

I had an important mission this week!! I had to help my aunt pick out some stud earrings for her double ear piercing. Not that I would know anything about that subject. Hey...I'm just here for support!

How long does this take?!

Where are the stickers with the yellow labs?

I found an "L"! That stands for "LEX!"
I walked outside a plaza. I practice loose leash walking and ignoring birds flying close by and shoppers!

I went to school this week. We practiced lots of new skills.

I love looking up at mom!
Happy 46 week Birthday to me!!
I've been with mom for 38 of those weeks!

I went for a walk in my booties. Don't I look professional?!!

I had a wonderful playdate with some of my friends who are also future guide dogs. Here I'm with my friend, Scampi. She leaves tomorrow for guide dog college.  Best wishes, Scampi!

We played at this fun skate board park. We loved playing on the ramps!

My "sister" Harlow had a blast playing, too. She might be 7 years old, but boy, can she run!! Even I had a hard time catching her!

Scampi, me, and Iron

Here we come! The 3 musketeers!

This playdate was sooo much fun! I couldn't help but smile!

Ha-You can't catch me!

I worked on my flexibility!

This toy is only like 12 inches long, but we can fit 4 lab mouths on it!

Catch me if you can...
Scampi was trying so hard to catch me!

Iron is my little friend. He's only 4 months, but he sure can keep up with the big guys!

This toy is soooo much fun!

We all stopped playing and posed for a picture!

I'm the only yellow Lab in the group!

After the playdate, I was very tired (so was Harlow!). I'm glad it's the weekend.
Until Next Week,
Lex
