Week 43 from Lex's View

Hellllooo!
It's me again. I think the weeks are going by faster and faster. Before I turn around, it's time for another Friday night post. If next week goes by as fast as this past week, it'll be my birthday before I can say "Happy Birthday!" Yep, next Friday is my very 1st Birthday. I can't wait for the celebration!!!
I started out the week by going to church. I think I classify as a part of the music team. I helped mom play the piano. Well, I guess I didn't help play it, but I did settle perfectly the whole time. Yay for me!

Sunday Best. I would have worn my tie, but my mother forgot it.
I was going to watch the car get washed, but the car wash was out of order. Unbelievable! So, I had to settle for watching the handheld windshield washer at the gas station.

I went to a hardware store where I haven't been very much.

It's kind of like Lowe's.

I even found a cool footing to walk on!

Okay. This is kind of weird!!

And this?? A whole row of toilets?! This is NOT in my Lowe's!

Harlow and I took a walk. I was really hoping to see the horse.

I kept looking for the horse, but she didn't come. I think I was stood up!
I went to Wal-Mart. There was this floor drier in the door area. There was really high power air coming from it. Mom and I practiced walking around it, and then, I even practiced doing a "sit" in front of it. I did a great job!

Shopping is boring business. I got to practice my sit/stay, though!

I helped mom buy some bird feed. Umm...looks like the birds have been eating and eating and eating. There is hardly any food left!

I helped return a DVD to the Redbox.

I went to the Shoe Department. I've already told mom I have boots...

I looked at the calendar and saw that spring is coming next month. I figured I should start tanning--I brought Oreo along for the bring a friend special! :)

It was really cold this week. I had cuddle up with my blankets.

I went for a walk in my boots.
Harlow and I had fun playing together.

HA! I got the toy!!

Are you going to come play?

I'll just lie here till you come!

If I run just a little faster, I'd be able to fly!!

Posing for a pretty picture!
I went to Wegman's. Do you think we can ride one of the motorized carts?!

Whoa! Look at this candy aisle! I've never seen so much candy in one place.

Patience is a virtue!

The pet aisle is super fun.

What??! Shrimp for cats? No way!

The Tower of Pop!
More waiting! I've learned how to be very patient during shopping!

I went skiing in the early am. It was really pretty!

My snow beard came back!

All paws ready for skiing!

I went to school this week. My handler was one of our new sitters. I had fun learning and practicing!

After class, I went on a home-switch to the raiser who raised my great-grandma on my dad's side. I go to work with her. I wasn't trying to sleep on the job, but.....
I'm getting along well with the family dog and cat. And obviously, I've found the toys...That's always a very important step when I go to another person's home!!
This is my "replacement" while I'm gone on my home-switch. Her name is Olympia, and she is an 8 month old German Shepherd. She obviously likes playing with my toys. Good thing because I wouldn't want my toys to be lonely!!

Until Next Week,
Lex
