Hello All,
It's Lex here! The last week has been incredibly fun, and I've done many exiting things. In this post, I'm going to tell you about the first part of my Week 48 when I was with mom. Then, stay tuned for the Part 2 blog post of my week when I was on a home-switch to Lucky's brother home!
As you may remember from last week's post, I went on a weekend getaway to Guiding Eyes with some of my canine friends.

| On Saturday morning, I went exploring at this beautiful pond. I must admit that I seriously considered going swimming and dipped my front paws into the water. Unfortunately, mom didn't think it was quite warm enough to going swimming. Bummer! |

On Saturday afternoon, we L puppies had our belated birthday party! There were a total of 6 dogs there. Our Mom, Halsa, Lucky, Luna, Latte (whose name is now Sammie), Henrietta (our black Lab friend), and me.

After our birthday playdate, our humans took us out to eat--I better rephrase that! Our humans took themselves out to eat!
All of us dogs who are currently being raised for Guiding Eyes (Lucky, Luna, Henrietta, and I) all went with our humans. It was great fun! |

| Then, I went for a car ride and took a little nap. |

| I practiced "load up" command to get weighed on this cool scale! |

| Then, it was time for lunch for the humans. I hung out with Heaven the whole time. |

I got several birthday gifts.

| Some of the treats are in the shape of bunnies, and others are number 1's...since we're all officially 1 years old. |
