Week 48 from LUCKY'S VIEW!

Hello All,
It's Lucky here! As you know, I'm Lex's brother. I had a very exciting week. After my amazing belated birthday weekend visit with Lex and Luna, I went on a wonderful trip to my Aunt's house--my brother Lex's puppy raiser! And, Lex stayed with my mom all week. It was a blast!

SUNDAY
We went on a long car ride. I got a yummy snack!! Dog bones are the best!

I was such a wonderful car rider. I slept the whole time with only one stop.

After several hours, I arrived at my new home for the week. I settled in very nicely and met the family.
MONDAY
I went to a mall--I've never been to this particular mall before.

I thought there was a tea party....Where are the others?

I'm the official "Irish Dog"...with a name like Lucky and a reddish color. I found these giant shamrocks!

I got to check out this footing! It was a bit weird at first, but my Aunt showed me what it was all about. Yay for me!

I practiced settling in the center of the mall.

I got to watch the escalators. They are super cool. When I'm in guide dog training, I'll learn how to ride the escalators. I can't wait!!
I found this very neat picture of the "Core Four" from the Yankees!!! Don't you think I'd make a good baseball player?!       Maybe one day I'll play for the Yankees!

Look at my cool wheels! When I grow up, I want a car just like this!

Burlington Coat Factory.
Look at all these shoes?!

I visited the dog aisles. I definitely think the Crawfish dog treats sound good!

Easter is coming up soon. I want to go on the Bunny Trail!

Wait! Water in the mall?!! Can we go swimming?!

I rode in this glass elevator. I was a very good boy.

What a view!

JcPenny's has a lot of clothes!

I went in the dressing room and settled.

Shoe Department--more shoes!

I took a ride on the shopper shuttle bus. I was such a good boy and rode like a gentleman.

When I got off the bus, the other passengers said, "Goodbye, Lucky!!" There should really be a Lucky fan club!

PetSmart
This is the best place ever for a dog. I even got a free dog treat!

Michael's has a lot of flowers!

I settled very nicely in the checkout line.

Sam's Club
Dog food! I never found the dog food samples....totally not fair when there were people food samples.

I'm a patient boy!

The bread aisle smells good!

All that shopping--and I was ready for a nap.
I got to go on walks with my brother, Lucky's big sister, Harlow. She was really nice to me, and we walked nicely together.

TUESDAY
My aunt took me to this cool set of stairs.

I handled these 3 sets of grated stairs like a pro!

I went to a fenced in skate park. What fun!!!!!!

Sitting pretty!

I really want to go skating!! Please!!!!!!!

I checked out the playground.

No problem with surfaces with me!

I love to play!

I'm multi talented---I run. I smile. My ears fly. I retrieve!

I'm sitting in a snow globe!

The last day of March, and there was snow!

Am I handsome or what???!!!!!

Don't you like my shamrock collar and my shamrock pendent?!

I let Harlow in one of the pictures with me...or maybe I should say that she invited herself into MY photoshoot!

Lex warned me of lots of photoshoots. I see what he's talking about now!

Snow + evergreen trees + me = picture perfect!

I got to sleep on Lex's dog bed and snuggle up with his blanket. How comfy!!
Paws crossed!
WEDNESDAY

I went to Lex's school. The class was having a special outing at Lowe's. Some of Lex's classmates thought I was Lex at first! I guess we look alike, huh??!

Can I drive my very own lawn mower?!

Lowe's has pretty flowers!

Inside Lowe's we went on a fun scavenger hunt!!

Find a mat and go place!

Find the Easter egg with the dog treats inside!

Find an unusual footing

Find an unusual footing

Found the shower, but where's the water?

The last stop was to get an Easter picture wearing bunny ears.
Settling at the end of class. This is my tired eye expression.

After class, I went to Dollar Store. I was perfectly behaved!!

THURSDAY
Tractor Supply
I did a good job in the dog food aisles.

This is the best book I've ever seen. I think Lex should buy it for his feline friends, Ella Mae, Oreo, and Sammy.

I'm very good at settling.

What's that sound?! CHICKS!!

There can never be enough toys!

Nursing Home
I visited the nursing home where Lex visits. Everyone loved me, and I was a very good boy.

Lex's favorite resident gave me dog bones!

I'd be happy to stay here!

I rode on the elevator and did great!

Walmart is turning into a greenhouse!! I guess they're called Easter Lilies.

The $3 rack at Walmart. Lex warned me about this---Aunt has a tendency to look at sale racks. Yep, he was right!

Then, just as Lex predicted, the sale rack often leads to the dressing room...
...which led to a nap for myself!

Anyone need jeans?!

Outside Walmart, I practiced my footings.

Looks like the garden center is getting set up!

Harlow and I went swimming!!!!

Okay, not really swimming...but it was wading!

Look at my reflection!

I went on a really fun hike.

The woods was a blast!

I'm king of the forest!

What? Is this another one of our littermates???!!! He looks just like us, but a bigger version. My aunt told it's a horse named Cricket!

FRIDAY
Harlow and I went on several walks together. This was our last walk together.
I went on another car ride, and I found my MOM! Sweet reunion!

I had such a great visit, exploring all of Lex's favorite places and activities!

Until Next Week,
Lucky
