Week 57 from Lex's View

Hello All,
It's me again-Lex! I love being the "big boy" of the family. Now that I'm a big brother, I realize how grown up I really am. Kinley is just learning how to people watch at Lowes! Anyhow, there's nothing better than when Mom says that I'm the one that will go on a fun, "grown up" outing with her!

As I mentioned last post, I hosted a guest for the weekend--Ginko! On Saturday, I took Ginko to one of my favorite summer hang outs..the pond!

Shake!

Harlow and Ginko made me into an oreo cookie!

Ginko didn't want to swim, so I did the retrieving!

Harlow, Kinley, me, and Ginko had a blast!

Later in the day, I went on a roadtrip.

Kinley and I make good car riding partners!

We went to a baseball game.

Kinley and I were very well behaved. There were lots of people there and several children petted us.

On Sunday, we canines went to help Mom play music at the nursing home. Do you recognize the shirt Kinley is wearing? It was mine when I was little!

Even though I'm almost 20 pounds heavier than Harlow, I still love to curl up beside her.

Then, Ginko, Harlow, Kinley, and I loaded up in the vehicle.

We went to a playdate with other Guiding Eyes puppies!

Me, Sweeney, and Kinley

I liked this neat footing!

Sweeney and I had a blast playing tug of war!

Look how my mouth is flying as I run!

I had a great time playing with many Guiding Eyes dogs. Mom also used the time to practice my name response/recall when playing with other dogs. I'm proud to announce that every time Mom called me away from playing with my friends, I went to her. I got MANY rewards for making such wonderful choices! We practiced it a lot during the playdate, and I did extremely well.

WAIT! Another redhead???!! I thought I was the only one! This is Kilroy, and he's a golden retriever.

Sitting tall!

Kinley and I took a nap with Patrick Star overseeing!
I'm a good example to Kinley of how to properly walk on leash.
I'm such a good boy with my house manners. I settle perfectly in the house. I don't get into things that aren't mine. I go to the door when I need to go potty.

I went to school and practiced many skills, along with some vet procedure practice.

School is hard work! I took a nap at the end of class!

I did some training/shopping in a different town. First, we went to PetSmart. Mom and I worked outside the store for awhile. I watched the dogs go into the store and practiced walking nicely, even if there were a ton of yummy smells!

Once inside, I found this cat who wants to be adpoted! I think she liked me!

Sorry! Wrong size clothing.
This life vest fits...sort of!

Mom found a really good sale on dog food, so I practiced settling as she loaded it up and looked around the store.

I went out to lunch at Applebees with Mom and Grandma.

I was such a perfect boy the entire meal. I never even thought about getting up!

I headed over to the mall where I found this adorable red car. I WANT ONE!
Macy's
Got shoes?

Wowzer! Look at all these shoes? Good thing I'm trained NOT to eat or chew shoes!!

Alert! Alert!
Too much greatness in one place! There's 7 of me!

I was hoping to go for a swim, but the glass didn't let me in. Bummer!
This glass elevator kind of looks small compared to the ones at Destiny USA, but it was fun nonetheless!
Shoe Department

JcPenny's
I practiced settling while in the dressing room. I was such a patient guy!
Take time to smell the flowers.
