Week 13 from Lex's View

Hello All,
It's officially August, and I'm officially 21...okay...21 weeks old. But, I feel really grown up when I say that I'm 21. :)

I started out the week by...you know...taking a nap. I was exhausted from the week before.

My nap was at the nursing home where mom took Harlow and me. We visited with the residents, and mom played music.

I love getting pets from the residents. I wore my shirt that says "Walking on Sunshine."

Mom took me to Gus Macker. It was the last day of the tournament, and things were winding down. However, I got to see lots of new things. For instance, have you ever seen a man on top of a basketball hoop?

There was a lot of trash. There were people picking it up. I would have offered to help...but I know mom doesn't like me to pick up things from the ground, so I had to decline.

Whoa!!! What's this doing on the town street? It was very cool. I wish I could have taken a ride in it. Now that would have been super fun!
Smiling for the camera
Walking on a loose leash
Settling nicely

I love baseball game naps.

Hey! I was actually awake!

Fighting my drowsy eyes....

...and falling asleep!

I went to Aldi for the first time. It's a grocery store, and there were a lot of people shopping! I did very well with all the distractions of people, carts, and food.

I practiced settling!

And....you guessed it...settling!

Waiting patiently while mom put the groceries on that thingy that looks a treadmill.

I also settled while mom and grandma loaded up the groceries.

I went for a walk in the rain. I love rainy walks and mud puddles.

The water likes me so much that it reflected ME!!

I tried to visit the horse, but she wouldn't come over to say hi to me. It looked like she was eating supper because she kept munching on grass. Good thing I don't have to eat grass!!

I went to a baseball game with my Uncle, since my mom was busy that night. I was very well behaved for my Uncle.

The lights are so bright I just might get a tan.

Nap time!

I went to Lowe's. I found this cart and decided to climb on it all by myself.

Reflections....

Yep, I'm taller than the drawers.

A walk at sunset

Yes, mom, I'm comfortable riding in the car like this!

I love snuggling with Harlow...she's the best pillow around!

I went to Tractor Supply to help mom get some new boots. I thought that the empty shelf looked super cool and comfy, so I settled there. Oh, no...you don't think they thought I was for sale? I hope not!!

Waiting.........

Mom was nice enough to let me go to the dog aisle, too.

I walked right by the dog toys without even looking at them!

I was very patient as mom checked out.

Just when I thought all the flowers were gone....guess what came?? Black Eyed Susans!

It won't be long before I'm taller than my sister and weighs more than she does! This week, I weighed in at 47.9 pounds!

Sunbathing with a tennis ball....what more could I want?
Harlow and I went to another baseball game.

I think I look like a real grown up dog in this picture. Whatcha think?

Just a little sleepy!

Playtime with Harlow is the best.

I love going to the pond!

I tell you...Harlow has some very good play moves. She's a quick one!

I got it!!! I got it!!

Facing the wrong way for the camera!

This picture makes mom smile. If I were smaller, I might be a stunt double for a rabbit!!

I'm ready to fly into the next week!
                                                                      Until Next Week,
                                                                              Lex
