Week 15 from Lex's View

Sunday Best

I love to take walks with mom and Harlow. I think the glow of the sun makes my coat look all the more beautiful!

While on our walk, mom found this leaf. When mom showed it to me, I was certain it was for me. Unfortunately, I was disappointed...it doesn't even taste yummy. Mom says that before long there will be these leaves everywhere. I'll have to see that!

I went to Walmart. Guess what I found?! One of my favorite blue carts!!

We looked at the flowers together....I think I will help business if I sit by the flowers.

Then, we went inside the garden center doors, and I got to explore.

Which beach towel looks the best with my coloring?

Then, we went through the door, and I found the best part of Walmart ever. The pet aisles!!! I don't know why mom hasn't told me about this before. It was amazing!!!

I think we dogs should be able to pick out our own food. After all, that's what humans get to do.

I was disappointed that this bin was empty.

This bed is super comfy! I practiced my Go Place command.

Goldfish!!! I want one!!! PLLLLEASE!!!!

Harlow and I like to hang out together. Harlow carries her bowl around everywhere. I think she wants to be prepared, just in case mom says that it's time to eat.

I was able to people watch---and you're thinking "More like car watching!" But, honestly, people were getting in and out of the cars.

Lexus #3. I think this one is very sleek!

Mom and I went to Shoe Department. Entrances to stores are very important...I sat at the door before entering and walked in nicely with mom.

I think mom got confused...my name is not Sal.

Purses---don't need one.

Shoes---uh, way too big for me.

Settling while mom shops...(actually, I think she was mostly pretending to shop, so I could practice settling..but I won't burst her bubble!)

I went to Dunkin Doughnuts for the first time! It's such a cool place!!

I settled awesomely while mom ordered. And, you won't believe what...the person asked if I wanted a munchkin....before I could even ask what on earth that was, mom said that I'm not allowed to have people food. Bummer...it sounds delicious to me!

I went to Wegmans with mom. I practiced settling in the food court area while mom used the wi-fi for a webinar. I took a LONG nap and hardly even stirred. Mom was very impressed.

It's hard to tell, but there's a piece of bread under the chair across from me. I noticed it, but I did a very good job ignoring it!
People were making a big deal about this moon. It did make me think of my sister, Luna...I miss my littermates. I can't wait to see Luna and Lucky again!!

I got to observe a car was from a distance. It was rather cool!

I went to Walmart again. This time, mom and I hung outside the plaza. It was a very busy time, and there were lots of people. So, I got to people watch and practice people walking past me. I still love people, but I'm getting better at ignoring them.

Mom shopped outside Maurice's. Umm...where's the short jeans for a guy like me?

Mom brushed my fur. Ohhh it felt good! I was great at standing in place while mom brushed me.

So last week, I mentioned the cat, Ella Mae, that I cat-sat, but I didn't have a picture. Here's a picture of her this week. She's learning how to walk on a leash!! Just when I thought that cats didn't want to be like us dogs....

Weight lifting---I was so tired just looking at the weights...I had to take a nap!

Toys are comfy!

Sammy didn't want Ella Mae to steal the feline spotlight of the post. He insisted I post a picture of him.
Mom, my aunt, and I went on an outing to a small county fair for a little bit.

I practiced settling at a picnic table. I people watched and acclimated to my new environment.

More settling and observing at a different spot...

Yep, you guessed it...

We went to the craft building to look at all the pictures and crafts. I was great at settling while mom browsed.

Can you see my face?

The most boring cow around...
OHHHH! There's a real cow! I really did not care about her..just nicely watched.

Good thing I'm not a cow...mom would have to travel with a shovel. Poo bags seem pretty good comparatively speaking!

Loose leash walking

Water!!! I don't understand why mom didn't buy me a ticket to go swimming....If I would have stood on my back paws, I'd been tall enough.

My new friends

I went to the ice cream shop!

And I settled while mom ordered ice cream.

I had to put this picture on for all the humans reading this who like ice-cream.

I think it's rude to pose my handsome face with ice cream that I can't even taste.

While mom ate, I settled.

Then, I took a nap.

Ready to go!
Harlow and I went on a picnic to a blueberry picking farm.

Don't my legs look long?!
                                                                       Until Next Week,
